Tour Introduction
Welcome to the engine room of the "Miracle on the Han River." Euljiro is where South Korea transformed from one of the poorest nations to a global economic powerhouse in just 80 years. This tour explores the gritty alleys of Euljiro, a place that embodies the "Seoul Cyberpunk" aesthetic—old ironworks clashing with modern neon lights. Once the fierce workplace of industrial laborers, it has now transformed into the trendiest playground ("Hip-jiro") for Korea’s youth. While the factories are disappearing due to urban development, the "Taste of Labor"—the food and alcohol that comforted the workers—remains alive. Join the Master Archivist to taste the history and witness how the site of production became the site of consumption.

  • The Taste of Survival: Taste the authentic "Worker’s Soul Food." Learn why specific alleys are named after side dishes (like Nogari) that laborers ate to forget their exhaustion.
